Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you knew any Irish hymns? Thanks.

I searched on the internet for Irish hymns--seems they are few and far between. Sad I did find a few Celtic and Celtic inspired hymns, though:

Sometimes a Light Surprises
Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Morning Has Broken
Simple Gifts
Be Thou My Vision
May the Road Rise Up to Meet You
Abide With Me
Wexford Carol (technically a Christmas carol, but one of the only Irish religious songs I could find)

I'll get back to you Tiffany ASAP--I've a hymnal my granny brought over with her from Cork when she was a girl.

I have a Celtic CD that is church hymns, but they are instrumental. I got it at a used bookstore, and I was lucky to find it. It's on iTunes, too. I highly recommend it.

Kimberly, you should see the other covers for the albums produced by this company. I have 6 iCloud streams of the album artwork by each label brand the company has. The ones I started out collecting were the Dan Gibson's Solitudes. You can find them at aquariums/museums, and also certain places like at gift stores (Hallmark used to have them). Bed, Bath & Beyond also should have them.

I have an 87 year old neighbor who was born in Dublin.....she came here like 50 years ago but if you heard her, she hasen`t lost any of her accent. IDK about hymms but I can give you some "sayings" she uses, like, if she hasen`t seen someone in a while, " I haven`t seen them in donkeys years"..or if she goes to a restaurant and not many people are there"well, there wasen`t a sinner in the place". If she has to go shopping, it turns into a question" and don`t I have to do the shopping?" Grin
