CaraNua LogoCaraNua explains their logo and group name! https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1180542058676748&id=1174832965914324It's from the stones around and on Newgrange here in Ireland, Newgrange is over 5,000 years old, dating back to before the pyramids in Egypt. You'll enjoy this link www.newgrange.com
Our name is Gaelic for New friend, the symbol from Newgrange for us represents three voices coming together as one, 3 lives, 3 generations and we also represent this by using the three metals on the ornamentation on our dresses that mark significant passages in time, copper, bronze and iron.

On the CaraNua Instagram page, they uploaded an "Instagram Story" with part of "Dúlaman" - it sounded really good! Those who have an Instagram account should listen to it before it disappears!

Cool! Also, check out the CaraNua blog: http://www.caranuamusic.com/blogIt's got a great post on there already that elaborates on what the CaraNua name and logo mean: What does 'CaraNua' mean?August 21, 2016Hello everyone! We've had a busy few weeks of preparation and a lot of work has gone into setting up our social media pages which so many of you have followed, thank you all so much! A few people have been asking what our name 'CaraNua' means and what our logo represents, so here you go! Our logo is an ancient Celtic design known as a 'Triskele' from the neolothic and mesolithic eras, found on stones in and around Newgrange, Co. Meath, here in Ireland. Newgrange is over 5,000 years old, dating back to before the pyramids in Egypt. To find out more about Newgrange, have a look at their website below; www.newgrange.com
'CaraNua' is Irish/Gaelic for 'New Friend'. The symbol from Newgrange for us represents three voices coming together as one, 3 lives, 3 generations. We also represent this by using three metals on the ornamentation on our dresses that mark significant passages in history; copper, bronze and iron. I hope that answers some of your questions! Please continue to message us, either here or on facebook. We love hearing from you all! And if you haven't followed us on Instagram yet, do, we'll be posting some photos starting next week so stay tuned! Lots of love, Edel, Lynn and Alex.

I'm not an Instagram expert, but I suspect the Instagram Stories only show up in the Instagram app. I see the CaraNua story in the Instagram app on my mobile device, but not it I go to Instagram on a PC with the same account

I think you can only view Instgarm Stories on the app, but I'm not 100% sure. They disappear after awhile.
