I don't know why I waited this long to discuss the one issue I had whenever CW performed The Call.  I didn't like how Lynn was always excluded from singing the chorus the first time around.  This happened on the IOH tour, this happened at Powerscourt, and this happened on the SFTH tour.

I remember watching this IOH trailer below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR35s-Ynlmo
And when they showed "The Call", I was like, "Where's Lynn, I thought she's in that number."

Then, the Powerscourt show, same thing, didn't see Lynn when the chorus was first sung.  And then, my question finally got answered, as I saw that Lynn finally comes out to join them during the second verse.

Why do you think this was that Lynn was not included during the first minute in a half of the song?

As for why they started with one less singer, probably to accentuate the additional power later in the song when they add the extra singer.

As for why Lynn was the last one in? Not sure, but Lisa/Chloë is a given super-combo. They're perfect together. Maybe Alex's voice rounds out the trio a bit better than if it was Alex, Chloë, Lynn?

Maybe to give Lynn a breather between songs.

I'm sure they had a good reason though.

Either way the song and Lynn are both AMAZING!!!!

Maybe  just  for  the  dramatic  effect.  I was thinking  the  same  thing  about  Orla  in  'You raise Me Up'  from  the  original  concert.

Accentuating Additional power Yes!

To me they wanted to continue incorporating the iconic entrance approaches just like ANJ or the Original did.
Lynn's entrance is a lot similar most similar to Hayley later entrance on Mo Ghile Mear (ANJ).

Another person told me in regards to Alex having fewer song participations than did Lynn where Lynn had additional with Chloe & Lisa K on extra group songs such as ( "Pie Jesu & Goodnight My Angel" ) they balanced it having Alex take full positions when it came to The Call & Amazing Grace.

For Amazing Grace it made sense that Chloe & Alex (duet) the first parts. Lynn proved for the 1st time during Emerald & CW10 she can do the duet perfectly, she even did so alongside Alex for one month in May for the Anniversary. The Call is my favorite song and Alex is one of my favorites and I love that she got at least additional verses on in The Call in fact those were once supposed to be Orla's have she remained!

When it came down to the SFTH tour, David possibly knew or fixed that with giving Alex My Heart Was Home Again
though it replaced True Colors but he gave an additional duet for her & Lynn on Walking The Night.

I don't see how The Call could manage 4 solo parts in the intro, the goal was to introduce the (3)
sync them, then move on to sync Lynn and Alex. Lynn & Alex sync to the second part was the BEST it was like
introducing the new CW member's to the world.

I love it, in true though first time audiences who didn't see a tour would be surprised knowing
Lynn joined CW a year earlier than Alex did and seeing Alex first instead of Lynn prove there was no order. //...
except if Orla had except if Orla had remained it made sense Orla being former to have then Lynn after her, Alex would of done trio with Orla and Lynn at the end of the second showdown.
This proves also that Chloe & Lisa K were dominant forces but we all wouldn't been surprised by that.*

( The Biggest theory would be would SFTH had 6 soloists including Orla and Alex or was Alex to been let go like Deirdre with Meav. IOH Tour might of (not) alternations would been done meaning Alex was in some ways not let go out of the group!
David new he had a new star on his CW horizon. ) .......

The reasoning why it's Lynn is actually pretty simple. The Call was originally the opening track to The Greatest Journey. On the first verse it was Chloe, Orla, and Lisa. Consequently, on IOH and SFTH it was Chloe, Alex, and Lisa since Alex replaced Orla.

Now! On TGJ CD, the first chorus had Lynn but not Alex. Therefore, it was 3 sopranos and an alto. So on IOH and SFTH they used Alex and had three power sopranos and then Lynn joined, increasing the power to 4 sopranos.

Listening to TGJ of The Call, it's not easy to identify Lynn on first verse, I am very good at identifying Alex and I hear a part of her strongly there.

For 2nd verse it feels like Lynn & Orla, at other times Alex & Orla, then the three together.../

Listening again ..= D
