hmmmm.... well, to start with, it was St Paddy's Eve, so there was lotsa green goin' on...
AND this show was not in the ATL

, it was in the Lake Oconee development area in Smalltown light-traffic-no-road-rage-no-bulletproof-vest-required GA; AND 35$ (
$35!) for Row 5 in a very nice, 500-seat theater with great acoustics and comfortable (and no bad-view) seats. (Chloe's FB pic is not our show... LKVA pic is ours)
And then there was the show: Chloe Agnew...
mike-drop.
Well, she wasn't the only one performing; but she was pedal-to-the-metal -- you could feel your hair blowin' back when she belted some of those songs

. And if you can get thru her final duet with Dermot without chills, you'd better check your pulse... just sayin'.
Keeping the spoilage to a minimum... Scott Porter wowed us a coupla times with some sparks-flyin' dancin'... and 18 of Lisa's students joined Chloe for a couple of songs (probably a one-time performance due to proximity to LKVA)... and Dermot performed solo and with Chloe... and the ATL Pops -- can't say enough about them -- they are outstanding and make us Georgians proud... to contribute....

Chloe's just a born showman... showwoman(?)... showgirl(?) (oops -- NO)... well, you know what I mean. She interacts and tells stories and is such a Natural. This was the first time I'd seen her in a solo show where she selected the songlist, and the 2 hours flew by. There was an intermission, and she's been known to stick around after the show sometimes -- but not this time

. So now, it's off to Tennessee and other southern spots; and she's gonna blow them away, too.
This is a guaranteed good time, if you get the chance to go...
