Haha!!! Yeah, that airport was unexpectedly large. I figured: "I've been sitting down for a few hours, I might as well get some exercise."
Was not expecting 15 minutes of walking at a pretty good pace to get to the end of the terminal where I had to get on the tram anyways to get to the rental facility. Could have taken the tram from from the far end and saved some time. Oh well, I probably did need the exercise.
I'll tell you what didn't make my top-anything list: my GPS. Yikes. You would think it would be difficult to get lost with one of those, but not when it keeps giving wrong directions (thinks it's in a different location that in actually is) then stops giving directions at all. Keep in mind I had no cell service in the US either. I probably spent about 5 hours that weekend driving in Atlanta looking for parking and driving in circles in Atlanta and Peachtree City. OMG, after Mellow Mushroom, it got me lost looking for some nature area and LKVA. I tried to find my way back to Mellow Mushroom but it couldn't find that again. Thank goodness it found the Fred.
