That might be a little weird as a duet.

"A New Day Has Come" by Celine Dion

This one just popped into my head the other day, and I think Chloe might sound really nice singing it...

How about "Memory" also by ALW?

When it's over,

dream when I'll meet you

I'm still thinking that a pop song called "My Only Love" by Sailor Moon will be covered by Chloe herself. Roll Eyes

I just remembered one song by Sarah Brightman that I would love to hear Chloe perform. It's called "Anytime, Anywhere," set to the music of the great Adagio by Tomaso Albinoni.

You can hear a snippet of it at the Amazon page of Sarah's Eden album:

http://www.amazon.com/Eden-US-Release-16-tracks/dp/B00000IL1K/

I'm not fond of the percussion, but you can hear the great Adagio melody behind it, and the soprano singing goes with it so well.

Chloe, with her facility for Italian songs (consider "Vivaldi's 'Rain'") could do wonders with this, and I'm sure that David D.'s arrangment would be even superior, more purely classical.

That's a very pretty song and I think Chloe would sing it beautifully.

Who is it going to be when she performs it?

I finally have an answer for this.

Kimberly's question was, Who would perform the part of the Phantom of the Opera opposite Chloe, if Chloe were singing the role of Christine Daae? I have an answer: Josh Groban.

Mr. Groban joined Sarah Brightman in performing a duet from Phantom at the Tribute to Diana concert this weekend. They sang "All I Ask of You" -- and while that is a Raoul song rather than a Phantom song from The Phantom of the Opera, Groban did such a marvellous job that I think he would make an ideal Phantom opposite Chloe.

He would be closer in age to Chloe than other singers who are known for performing the Phantom, and yet sufficiently older to capture the father/mentor dynamic of the character.

He was the one I thought of when I saw that question! I totally agree with you!

I would also like to hear her sing Wishing You  Were Somehow here again from the Phantom and Think Of Me from that same Musical.

The idea of duets came up earlier in this thread, and while I generally prefer solos to duets, an ideal song for Chloe and someone else would be the famous "Flower Duet" from the Delibes opera, Lakmé. You'll recognize it as soon as you hear a few notes:

I think Chloe would perform this magically...

These are songs she's already done on her first album, but I'd love to hear her peform them Live:  "Angel Song" and "Voice of Home", both of which David Downes wrote.  They are my favorite songs on the album and would be so awesome Live!!  Shocked Smiley
