Those fires should not effect us. The one fire is south and west of Riverside looks like near Norco. The other one just west of Ontario might cause me to detour since I'll taking I10 across.

Hi Maggie , that is the norm here though not where I live....yet. And Griffith park where the Greek theater is had alot burned out . though dosen't mean other areas there are not affected.

Zankoku, If fire start over we are in Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley areas than I will be worried especailly with traffic overload on the freeways constant here . The heat dosen't help of course. CW is in Santa Barbara tonight whcih is about 10-15 degrees cooler than here

I didn't know you live in So Cal Shywolf, I don't but I spent 1/2 of my life in California, Studied California history in school and except for all the dang foreigners from the Eastern Seaboard, I might still lve there.  (Actually prefer Monterey or Tahoe) My dad and I used to belong to a Live Steam railroad club in Goleta called Goleta Valley Railroad which was on a hill top. Jim |
