Well, I'm not graduating, but I want to say congratulations to my little sister, Abby, who graduates from high school this Sunday!  I'm down home for a whirlwind trip to help her celebrate.  She is going to college with a major in Performance Opera and a minor in harp.  I'm so proud of her!!!  The girl has a serious set of pipes on her (too bad she doesn't sing celtic music!) and she's been playing the harp since she was 8 years old.

I've only been home a few hours from attending my daughters college graduation.  As much as I would have loved being able to go to the final show of the CW Spring tour (no, I couldn't have done that anyway) there is no question I'd have chosen to attend this little show instead.

It was the largest graduating class from the college she attended, full of all the tradition, pride, and of course the "Pomp and Circumstance" that a graduation should include.  It even had a few tears from a slightly proud dad (yeah, okay, so it's a good thing I don't wear hats, since there is no way they could have gotten one to fit today!).

Now a couple months off before she heads to Boston College to start Grad school (yep, another hat size or two there!).

Congratulations to ALL graduates of 2008, you all deserve it!
