When a forum goes down, having links posted is in a thread is not always useful because you can't access it when the forum is down. So bookmark the website or at least the links page and you'll always know where to find everything.
And don't forget, if the chat goes down with the forum you can also find a backup chat site on my links page as well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we don't anticipate any problems with our forum going down. Brain has taken extra measures to make sure that all our bases are covered. He is currently performing weekly maintenance on the entire forum two times a week (Wednesday evenings and Saturday Mornings) - he will be backing it up regularly. Additionally, we found a very professional & reliable hosting company. It is worth the cost to us to ensure that the new forum is protected. Our hosting plan comes with all sorts of extras to help us with the administration of this.
Not to say that everything in life is 100% secure of course... but in the event something should happen.. we have the technology to restore the forum with minimal loss... We might loose a few posts, but other than that we should be able to be up and running again in no time.
We just wanted to put yours and everyone else's mind at ease! We are definitely doing our best to keep the integrity of the forum in tact.
