Ok, so for one of my assignments while I am in Galway, I have to go purchase some specific food. Can someone help me by explaining what these foods are and where I could find them?

Crisps
Digestives
Yonkie Bar

Thanks!

Oh dear, I know this is too late, but i thought I would post this anyway.
I hope somebody in Galway helped you and you got the following items.
Did you have fun?

Crisps = potato chips. The favorite brand in Ireland is Tayto

Digestives = McVitie's cookies (my favorites)

Yorkie (not Yonkie) Bar = candy bar

Thanks for the info, Maggie.

My favorite Irish crisps are Walker's Cheese and Onion.  They are yummy!  Pringles used to make cheese and onion potato crisps here in the US, but they stopped making them.   Sad

McVities does make the best digestives.  The chocolate covered ones are so good.   Smiley

My favorite Irish candy bar is Crunchie.  It has a honey comb center and is lower in fat than a lot of other candy bars.

I don't know if those foods I mentioned originate in Ireland.  I've been to Ireland and England and you can find all of those foods in both countries.

It was for an assignment...these were foods consumed in Ireland not necessarily manufactured there. They were wonderful though...

My favorite food when I was there, however, was Butler's Chocolates...

GOOD NEWS! You can order Butler's Chocolates here:

The following café sounds heavenly but it's in Wellington New Zealand, now we have to persuade them to open some branches here:
