Cindy,
What was done to you was not only illegal (terminating due to illness) but also uncharitable and definitely not a Christian attitude. Since you said Church and not Tempe, synagogue, etc, I presumed Christian.
Glad things are working out for you now. Just take Solace in the fact that those people will have to answer to a higher authority some day. (What you do the the least of my Brothers, etc.)
Always remember that when a door closes, a window is opened.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

Awwwww.....

Gosh.....

Thanks, EVERYONE...for such sweet posts of encouragement!

A quick update...My new job that I just got in April ended up being a "temp" job...and I have not worked in almost 5 weeks, now...

BUT...a few days after that...is when I MET LISA!!!!!!!  (I was so excited to meet her that I CRIED--LOL!)  That week was such a total roller-coaster for me!

In the meantime...I'm just "hanging in there"...Still in "total awe" of meeting Lisa...(I could literally go ON-AND-ON 'bout that!  **giggle!**)

I still smile and laugh everyday...and enjoying time with my little boy...and I "know-that-I-know-that-I-know"...that even though "I" am not sure what the future holds...I know "Who" holds my future!  Wink

Struggles in life can get tiresome...and drag your energy levels down...but I'm so thankful to have found THIS PLACE!!!  I'm so thankful for Lisa's songs that have helped me "keep my chin up"...and I'm so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to ACTUALLY MEET HER---OMG!!!!!  **giggle!**

"Her name is Lisa"....and...well...I'm very thankful for her...in many ways...

Love to all of you!!
