One CWazy Canadian! Chlovër for life!

Here are a list of my 10 favourite moments  (in no particular order) from Lisa's show at the Fred in April 2017:

1. Finally seeing Lisa live!
2. Chloë's comedy / storytelling (she's soooo funny!)
3. "For Good"
4. When Sarah got her hug <3
5. Getting to sing along with Lisa and Chloë! (Wild Rover ... OMG, I've been wanting to sing along with those two since I saw Believe!!!!)
6. The venue (surrounded by trees ... just beautiful)
7. The opening acts (my personal favourite was Sinséar although I get that American Hope was quite popular as well, especially after giving out free stuff at the Fan Gathering).
8. Galway Girl (fun and the dance academy tore up the stage, figuratively)
9. Chloe's singing (if I separately listed all the songs I loved hearing her sing it would take up the whole list: The Prayer with Dermy, Grace, ...)
10. The Academies.

... "What, you left out the dance-off?" ... it was fun, but so was pretty much everything at Lisa's show. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it. But the strobe lights became a little irritating during this one so while I liked it, there were some other things I liked even more.

While technically not pat of the show, the pre-/post-show fan gatherings were great! Got to meet lots of people I know from the forums and social media. Got to make some new friends too!

4. When Sarah got her hug <3
I saw that, and it made my Top 10, too. Cheesy

...and I'm sure that dealing with the Atlanta airport was #11.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Haha!!! Yeah, that airport was unexpectedly large. I figured: "I've been sitting down for a few hours, I might as well get some exercise."

Was not expecting 15 minutes of walking at a pretty good pace to get to the end of the terminal where I had to get on the tram anyways to get to the rental facility. Could have taken the tram from from the far end and saved some time. Oh well, I probably did need the exercise. Wink

I'll tell you what didn't make my top-anything list: my GPS. Yikes. You would think it would be difficult to get lost with one of those, but not when it keeps giving wrong directions (thinks it's in a different location that in actually is) then stops giving directions at all. Keep in mind I had no cell service in the US either. I probably spent about 5 hours that weekend driving in Atlanta looking for parking and driving in circles in Atlanta and Peachtree City. OMG, after Mellow Mushroom, it got me lost looking for some nature area and LKVA. I tried to find my way back to Mellow Mushroom but it couldn't find that again. Thank goodness it found the Fred.

woooo... sorry that your trip included a bad GPS device -- that's not the way to visit ATL.  The interstates are either flat-out  Shocked  or parking lots  Angry , and the streets are bumper-to-bumper with traffic lights at every block.  If ya don't have some idea of where you are and where the next turn/exit is, you're dog meat.  Traffic has always been bad, but after the Olympics, it got worse and has been deteriorating ever since.  There's always road work -- recently some crackheads actually burned down an I-85 bridge, so there's just one MAJOR downtown detour... among many.  Wrecks are so common, nobody even rubbernecks 'em anymore.
Peachtree City is a walk-in-the-park in comparison -- as long as you know about the golf carts  Cheesy .  Glad ya got some good memories of a great show though.

Thanks!  Smiley

Yeah, the traffic was nasty downtown, but particularly bad from the area near Turner Field to the Atlanta Symphony Hall for Rocktopia. That was on a Thursday, I believe. Backed up onto the highway. Backed up on the highway (not super-bad, just slow). Total gridlock as soon as I got off the highway. There was almost no movement on any road for almost 15 minutes. Took about 1 hr 20 minutes for 18 minute drive. And that's not including the time I spent on foot trying to find a parking spot for the show.

The driving was a bit exhausting but by that point I was in a blissful CWazy-trance, so I kind of just shrugged it off.
